Apple may have played its cards right by not moving into the netbook market
Alienware M17x owners have been outspoken about certain latency issues, and today Dell posted their official response. Owners have been reporting in our forums that Deferred Procedure Call (DPC) latency is affecting audio performance, specifically causing audio stutters, clicks, pops, frame drop while watching videos, and audio/video desyncs during video playback. Dell(Inspiron 6400 Battery) says that the DPC latency issues are not specific to Alienware or Dell systems and that there are no easy solutions to the problem.
